Blogger Background

Many of you may have noticed this really cool, ugly thing in the top right left hand corner of my profile. No, I don't know my right from my left.

Thanks for being awesome?  I don't want to deal with the hassle of updating all of that stuff.  It was enough of a hassle to begin with.  So you know me, I waited until halfway through the month of January to start looking for my owl background.  After all, this makes it sound like all I have to do is update my fancy-smancy codes so that I won't lose my cutesy background.  WRONG.

After much searching, it has come to my attention that Shabby Blogs has done away with this cute owl background.  And if you know me, I like all things owl.  My mother-in-law even found me a brown owl that looks very similar to my blog for Christmas.

Well, I am sad to say that we are going to have to say goodbye to the owl background soon.   :*( Technically, today is February 2nd, and I still can see owls.  I'm being rebellious and waiting until the very, very, very, very, very, very last second to change.  They are going to have to delete this background before I change.  And I'm sure that will be in the next few days.  Don't worry! I've been on the lookout for a fresh new background that will probably still have an owl or two on it.  But for right now, I'll keep these owls until they die.  Just wanted y'all to know I may have to get background happy and begin changing it around.  I may be trying out a few until I find one that I like!

Please let me know if you can't read the text at any time.  I know you can't sometimes on your cell phone if it isn't dark enough.  I will try to make sure this problem doesn't happen!

Little Lacey goes to the vet today for the first time.  We're hoping that everything checks out okay.  She needs a rabies shot, and I've been begging David to take off work early (which he isn't allowed to do) and take her to have it done so she'll be mad at him and not me.  I can't stand to get poked, and I'm so worried she's going to be mad at me!  Especially since I forgot her big pillow in Starkville.  I'm a bad Mom!  Don't let that make you feel sorry for her.  It simply means she spends more time on the couch in my lap.  However, after we go get shots, she may not want to get in my lap anymore.  I'm going to be a horrible mother one day because I don't want my babies to do anything that will hurt them.  Just have to keep reminding myself that I'd rather her hurt now than get rabies later!  Wish us luck on our first time to the vet.  I'll try not to ask him a billion questions.
